Merry Christmas!

Hey Everybody!
I celebrated my very first Christmas today and boy was it GREAT! Santa was super good to me. I got an exersaucer, lots of books, bath toys... AK got me a Bumbo... overall I really racked up! As you can see the stack of packages was WAY bigger than me!

This is me and my PaPa after all the packages were open and the living room looked like a a bomb went off. Me and him were just chillin'.
There are a lot more pictures of my big 1st ever Christmas. Mommy is a little slow on the upload, but we will get them posted very soon.
Hope your family's Christmas was as special and exciting as mine.
love - Harry

Me and Santa

I went to see Santa for the first time yesterday! He was very nice to me and even sang me a song while I napped. He promised to bring me lots of fun stuff since I have been such a good boy!
Guess he doesn't count my fussy times. :)

6 weeks old!

Tomorrow, our little Harrison turns 6 weeks old. We can't believe how big he is getting. He eats a LOT and we really enjoy "playing" with him. I've included a few pictures from our Christmas card "photo shoot." He didn't seem to mind it too much and on occassion the Christmas Tree catches his eye, like in the picture below.

Overall little Harry is a pretty happy boy, as long as his britches are clean and his belly is full. We hope you're all having a great holiday season! We sure are!

Oh and as you can see from the picture above - he can "wave" sort of. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I celebrated my first Thanksgiving today. Mommy and Daddy spent the morning cooking and I was really looking forward to eating some Turkey... I was really disappointed/pissed off when I found out that I was not getting any of that good stuff...
But my outfit is really cute, right?
My Grandpa Ronnie came to visit, as you can see I am enjoying my time with him - nice and comfy!
I am happy to report that as of last Friday at my Dr. appt I weighed 7 lbs 6 ozs, but I know I have far exceeded that by now. I would eat until there's no tomorrow. Mommy and Daddy are hoping that my constantly hungry state is not a sign of things to come.
This is my Mommy and her extreme close-up photo again. Can you see my milk mustache in this picture?
This is also me chillin' in my bouncy seat. I enjoy watching the fishes most days, but on this occasion I was bored with it.

Check back soon!

Three weeks old!

Hey everybody! I'm adjusting to my new life here. I eat a lot! I also like to play. Unfortunately, for my Mommy I don't like to sleep too much - I might miss something. Overall I'm pretty happy and content most of the time. Here are a few pictures of me... ain't I the cutest!

Harrison is Here!

WOW! What a week it's been. After much discussion from my doctors over the last week about inducing me the week of 10/27 to my surprise Harrison had plans of his own. My water broke around 3:30am Monday morning. We had a 10am appt already scheduled so we decided to go in and see what the deal was and of course they sent me to the hospital. Our journey was just beginning.
Once there, and all checked in, the doctors kicked my labor into high gear and we were moving along rather quickly. By 12am it was time to start pushing and after a lot of hard work on my part Harrison McLean Geer made his entrance into the world at 1:16am. He's a tiny little thing, 5 lbs, 12 ozs and 18 3/4 inches, not at all what we expected. As you can see below he has the sweetest face!!! We are all very in love with this little guy - he has quite a few fans.
Harrison had a little issue with his transition into the world and had to spend his first few days in a special nursery. His blood sugar was low initially and after recovering from that ended up with a little jaundice. Although it's tough to see your brand new baby hooked to monitors and receiving an IV and having limited access to hold and love him - we knew he was in good hands. LUCKILY we were able to take him home on Thursday 10/30, the same day I was to go home.
Since being home he's not sleeping really good at night, but he's eating more and more at every feeding so this little guy won't be little for long. We'll post more soon!

An update on us...

Just a quick note to update you on how we (me and Harrison) are fairing these days. Last Friday, I was sent to hospital for a little monitoring - my blood pressure was a little higher than the doctors would like, totally a precautionary measure. Harrison was totally unaffected by any of this - he continued to play and kick and hang out, without much complaint. Anyway - my doctors will continue to monitor the situation closely and have put me on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. At this point they believe I will deliver about 2 weeks early. HOWEVER - as anyone who's had a baby can attest - there are no guarantees when it comes to this kind of stuff. SOOOOO - we'll keep you posted.

The Finished Product

The rest of the house looks like Babies R Us blew up all over it. But the nursery is finally complete. Here are a few pictures...

FINALLY - the furniture has arrived!

I have yet another big baby weekend ahead of me. Today the furniture was delivered and I have a LOT of washing and organizing to do. Jason is going out of town for his last football weekend of the year (I know, I'm the best wife ever.) So... G-Ninny (my mom) is coming up to help me get things situated. I have some last minute things to purchase and I really suck at folding laundry so I called in a Mommy Expert.
Again, I must say that for such a tiny person, this kid has made a real mess of our house. :) And he's not even here yet to really make a mess!
I will have pictures of the finished product next week. Check back!

Lots and Lots of PRESENTS!

This weekend we had 2, yes 2, Baby Showers in Jacksonville. We got so many nice gifts - this kid is loved so much already by so many people - WE ARE VERY LUCKY! You can see all the pictures from the weekends festivities at: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AYs2LZu1ZuXvQ
But here's just a few.
The first shower was for family and Aunt Martha and Aunt Marlene made it very special...

The cake had whales on it...

We got lots of great gifts...

The second shower was by Poodie, Butch, Rootie, RJ and Bud and it was quite a rockin' party. In true Aunt Poodie fashion, there was even a Maragrita machine...

One of the funniest gifts we got was the tiny Gator shirt that said "Tiny Tebow" and had the number 15 on the back. As you can tell that didn't go over too well with Daddy...

At the end of it all Jason said, "where are we going to put all this stuff?" As you can see in these pictures there was A LOT!

We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who made it to the showers! It was so great to see everyone and your kindness towards Harrison is appreciated more than you know. We are blessed to have be able to share this special time with such wonderful people like you!

"Bob the Builder" enhances a Nursery

So... this past weekend while up for the baby shower PaPa Denny a.k.a. "Bob the Builder" did a little work on the Nursery.
As you can see below PaPa Denny was very busy! Closet shelves, blinds, wall paper, wall letters, wall shelves, a book case, a rocking chair... We are very lucky to have such a handy guy around when we need him. He makes it all look so easy - it would've taken us several weekends (like 20) to do all that ourselves.

Wall Border is up:
The Wall Letters are up too - and yes that's officially his name HARRISON:
And who can forget the Famous Monkey Tree? There he is - along with some other wall "art":
Now we just need furniture and a baby and we're good to go!

ATL Baby Shower

This past weekend was our first baby shower. It was very nice and we can't thank Dennis and Alyssa and Jeff and Millicent enough for throwing it for us. We got some very nice gifts and it was very nice to see everyone and visit. Oh and the chicken nuggets & cupcakes were the baby's favorite!
Here are a few pictures of Harry's big party...
