This may not be his first actual Halloween - but this is the first time we've actually done anything to celebrate. Harrison was Elmo this year and Jason and I went out in the cold drizzle to let the boy Trick or Treat for the first time. He wasn't into it so much - but next year - WATCH OUT!

A note from Harrison:

Hi Everyone!
I know it's been a while since I updated my site, but I have been VERY busy. I am almost 11 months old now. I have 8 teeth and I eat lots of "real" food. There is not much I don't eat at this time. I love to play with my toys and read books.
I believe that my new name is actually "NO-NO" because that seems to be all Mommy and Daddy say these days. You see, I love to go where I'm not supposed to and get into things I'm not supposed to. I'm not walking or really standing yet - but I can get to just about anywhere with a little will.
I got my first hair cut back in August and am already in need of another one. And Mommy keeps talking about some big party she's having for me next month. As long as there's cake I'm game for whatever.
I've included some pictures. As you can see I'm quite grown.

I woke up one day and my hair looked like this. Standing straight up! Mommy and Daddy laughed and took a lot of pictures.

June 2009 Update

I weigh almost 22 lbs these days. Really packing on the pounds. I love to eat and have started getting "real" food and finger foods.

I love to play with my toys, peek-a-boo, my nightly bedtime book and song, the pool and jumping.

Here are some new pictures - my hair is crazier than ever - but I am still adorable.

I can brush my teeth. This new electric toothbrush feels great on my gums!

7 months old!

Hi Everybody!

I have been a very busy boy lately. I have two, yes count them , 2 teeth now on the bottom. I say things now too - Dada, Mama, Baba - however I don't realize that these actually mean anything yet. I love to play and love it when my Daddy sings to me. I can't quite sit up yet on my own for any length of time, I'm kind of a lazy boy that way. My hair is crazier than ever and I weighed a whopping 20 lbs when I went to the doctor recently.

I recently had my 6 month pictures taken and have included a few below.

I also hung out by Granny and Papa's pool over Memorial Day. I AM VERY COOL!

A note from Harrison:

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I am doing GREAT!

I have moved on from cereal to vegetables and the person who created Stage 1 green peas is a bad, bad man. They were yucky! :( However I've really enjoyed all the other veggies Mommy has given me. Today I ate a whole jar of sweet potatoes. So far... my favorite, followed closely by squash, then carrots and then green beans. Next week I get to start eating fruits. YUMMY!

BTW Mommy and Daddy kind of freak when I make "rasberrys" with a mouth a full of food and I covered Mommy in squash when I sneezed mid bite the other day. Hehehehe. It was really funny to me.

Let's see... what else is going on. I drool constantly. I can roll over both ways. I like to "sing" and "talk" a lot. I yell when no one pays attention to me (which Mommy says is very rare.) Nothing tastes better than my fingers. I like to intentionally kick my AK (not in a mean way though.)

OH and I almost forgot... I went on my first airplane ride. I was an angel both ways to Jacksonville. The girls sitting around us loved me and I loved them. I've got this flirting thing down to a science.

This is my "official" picture with the Easter Bunny. The lady tried to get me to smile for about 10 minutes, I wasn't crying or upset, I just wouldn't smile. I was having none of it. I just wanted to chew on the Bunnies fingers but Mommy kept telling me it was yucky!

This is Mommy and me at my first birthday party. It was for my friend Sarah. She turned 4 and had animals at her party.

My Mommy is a real genius - she was trying take a picture of me in the Baby Bjorn - she was laughing saying that I looked like Mini Me from Austin Powers (whoever that is.) Oh and I'm actually smiling. Too bad Mommy didn't think about the whole flash/mirror thing. This could've been a great pic of us.
