Lots and Lots of PRESENTS!

This weekend we had 2, yes 2, Baby Showers in Jacksonville. We got so many nice gifts - this kid is loved so much already by so many people - WE ARE VERY LUCKY! You can see all the pictures from the weekends festivities at: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AYs2LZu1ZuXvQ
But here's just a few.
The first shower was for family and Aunt Martha and Aunt Marlene made it very special...

The cake had whales on it...

We got lots of great gifts...

The second shower was by Poodie, Butch, Rootie, RJ and Bud and it was quite a rockin' party. In true Aunt Poodie fashion, there was even a Maragrita machine...

One of the funniest gifts we got was the tiny Gator shirt that said "Tiny Tebow" and had the number 15 on the back. As you can tell that didn't go over too well with Daddy...

At the end of it all Jason said, "where are we going to put all this stuff?" As you can see in these pictures there was A LOT!

We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who made it to the showers! It was so great to see everyone and your kindness towards Harrison is appreciated more than you know. We are blessed to have be able to share this special time with such wonderful people like you!

"Bob the Builder" enhances a Nursery

So... this past weekend while up for the baby shower PaPa Denny a.k.a. "Bob the Builder" did a little work on the Nursery.
As you can see below PaPa Denny was very busy! Closet shelves, blinds, wall paper, wall letters, wall shelves, a book case, a rocking chair... We are very lucky to have such a handy guy around when we need him. He makes it all look so easy - it would've taken us several weekends (like 20) to do all that ourselves.

Wall Border is up:
The Wall Letters are up too - and yes that's officially his name HARRISON:
And who can forget the Famous Monkey Tree? There he is - along with some other wall "art":
Now we just need furniture and a baby and we're good to go!

ATL Baby Shower

This past weekend was our first baby shower. It was very nice and we can't thank Dennis and Alyssa and Jeff and Millicent enough for throwing it for us. We got some very nice gifts and it was very nice to see everyone and visit. Oh and the chicken nuggets & cupcakes were the baby's favorite!
Here are a few pictures of Harry's big party...

I'm getting so big...

A post by Baby Geer:
Mommy and Daddy went to the doctor today and I'm allegedly 3 pounds 3 ounces. It seems like only yesterday I heard the doctor tell Mommy that I only weighed an ounce -time is just flying by. My hope is the next few months zoom by, because let me tell you my current living quarters are SMALL! I can't ever seem to get comfortable, but I guess when your feet are crammed up around your head that can happen. You try it... not so cozy.
I'm getting very excited to see all my grandparents this weekend. They can watch my "in utero acrobatics show." I'm quite talented! :)

Getting so EXCITED!

If it's possible things get more exciting everyday here in the Geer household.
The baby continues to practice his crime fighting moves (his kicks and punches are practice for his future as Batman.) And let me be the first to tell you he's getting stronger everyday!
Our first baby shower is next weekend and all of the grandparents are coming up to celebrate with us. We are so lucky to have friends like the Kundrats and Duprees to do something so nice for us. We appreciate it more than they know!
In addition to going to the baby shower, PaPa Denny is coming up to help us further prepare the nursery. We're not so handy, but PaPa Denny would give the "Bob The Builder" a run for his money. Thank you PaPa Denny!!! :)
Also, I've had a few requests for pictures of my belly. It's not huge, this kid is pretty good at hiding, but here's what I look like now, 29 weeks today.

The "now famous" Monkey Tree

So, yes I am one of those mom's that wants my son's nursery to be perfect long before he arrives. With that said, may I introduce The Monkey Tree...
While shopping for furniture I found a sample of this in the store. It, OF COURSE, matched the baby's room perfectly and I had to have one. This one was custom-made to match the room perfectly (I got to pick out all the colors), and yes, I probably paid to too much for it, but it was a must have.
This Monkey Tree is about 2 foot tall and hangs from the ceiling. Other than the monkey making monkey noises it doesn't do anything fancy, it's just too CUTE!
This is a picture of the hamper for the room... doesn't it go perfectly?

Amazing, sweet little face!

Today we had another ultrasound and to my surprise they took some images in 4D. I was so excited!!! Technology is so amazing on so many wonderful levels!
I've been really obsessed with figuring out who this kid looks like since they gave me these photos... any thoughts?
It was the coolest thing ever to see this little person we've been talking to all this time.
According to measurements he weighs 1 lb, 9 ozs and the doctor kept using words like "perfect" and "really great."
Oh and his Daddy got to feel him kick for the first time last night. It's been a truly exciting few days for us! We are so blessed!
